ในกราฟรายวันของเครื่องมือสินค้าโภคภัณฑ์น้ำมันดิบ เราจะเห็นได้ว่า หลังจากที่สามารถทะลุรูปแบบลิ่มล้มเหลว (Failing Wedge) ได้สำเร็จ มีความแตกต่างระหว่างการเคลื่อนไหวของราคาน้ำมันดิบ (#CL) กับตัวบ่งชี้ Stochastic Oscillator ซึ่งบ่งบอกว่าแม้ว่าจะมีการแข็งค่าขึ้นในขณะนี้ ยืนยันได้จากการเคลื่อนไหวของราคาที่อยู่เหนือ EMA (21) แต่ในอีกไม่กี่วันข้างหน้า ตราบใดที่ #CL ยังไม่สามารถแข็งค่าต่อเนื่องจนกระทั่งทะลุและปิดเหนือระดับ 80.76 ได้ #CL ยังมีโอกาสตกกลับลงมาที่ระดับ 72.17 แม้กระทั่งถ้าแรงโมเมนตัมของการอ่อนแอและความผันผวนแข็งแรงพอ ก็มีความเป็นไปได้ที่ #CL จะกลับไปสู่ระดับ 67.07
